THE UNSEEN HOUR
The country of Emrys has been cursed for nearly a hundred years.
Each New Year's Eve time stops, and death takes anyone not hiding in their homes.
Everyone thinks Celia's father was just another victim of the Unseen Hour, but she believes differently. She's got a plan to get taken alive during the Unseen Hour, and go after her father.
The only problem is that when she succeeds, she doesn't find her father. She finds him.

About the Author
Reames has been penning short stories and book ideas for years. At the onset of the pandemic in 2020 she naively thought “I’ve got two weeks at home without work, seems like the perfect time to start that novel I’ve been putting off”. That two weeks out to be a lot longer. Her day job was busier than ever, but the desire to write remained. Reames completed several manuscripts and sent them off to her (beloved and appreciated) beta readers and editor.

As an avid reader her entire life whose favorite place to go was her local library growing up, she read an eclectic array of books. She writes eclectically as well. Under her Silas pen name readers dive into the world of Never, a 400 year old werewolf with a penchant for the meaning behind names and a taste for vengeance. Under her Sydney pen name she’s written a young adult science fantasy book trilogy.
Reames lives with her husband and two dogs: Merlin the magnificent tri-pawd, and Henry. They currently reside in the midwest but have moved several places across the USA. When not writing, Reames enjoys swimming, reading, overthinking things, and daydreaming about travel. While working on her books, Reames’s dogs often snuggle up close to her as she listens to music, drinks too much coffee, and tries to transfer whole worlds from inside her head to the page.
